Shore Clean Express Donates Over $5000 to Frontline Workers, Continues to Offer Free Services
The full service auto repair, oil center, and car wash is still offering free services for healthcare workers and first responders.
MARMORA, NJ-Local family owned and operated auto center Shore Clean Express is proud to announce the donation of over $5,000 in services. In March, the business announced they would offer free conventional oil changes, disinfectant interior cleaning and car washes for healthcare workers. Shortly after, Shore Clean Express teamed up with Earth Angels for Dementia’s Gratitude to Go program to offer the same complimentary services to first responders.
Owner Chuck Baker, a resident of Ocean City, NJ, is the husband of a respiratory therapist, Regina Baker, working at AtlantiCare Mainland Division. Seeing the long stressful hours his wife is undergoing and knowing most frontline workers are working more hours, Baker knew free oil changes were the right way to give back.
“We always want to keep people safe on the road,” said Baker. “Now that these workers are dedicating all of their time and energy to this virus there is no better way for us to give back then to offer these free services.”
Healthcare workers can still claim one free conventional oil change and car wash at Shore Clean Express with no appointment necessary. A valid ID is required to claim services.
Shore Clean Express is open 7 days a week from 9 AM to 5 PM for oil changes and auto repair, Friday through Sunday 9 AM to 5 PM for the car wash, and by appointment for auto detailing.
Baker opened Shore Clean express in 1996 at 452 Rt 9 S in Marmora. What originally started as an all cloth car wash turned into full service auto repair, express oil changes and more. Baker takes pride in his facility's ability to offer express, high quality service to keep families safe on the road.
